Sterling Silver and Fossilized Dinosaur Bone Cuff Bracelet

A beautiful polished red-orange fossilized dinosaur bone tops this textured sterling silver cuff bracelet. As dinosaur bone fossilized over millions of years, it took on the colors of the minerals around it in the soil. The webbed surface you see in the stone indicates that it was once bone.

I forged the texture on the 5mm wide bracelet and formed it into a bracelet shape. The sterling silver was oxidized and sanded to enhance the textures I created. The bracelet is 5-1/4 inches which will fit a 6-1/4 inch wrist.

Silver and Fossil Dawn Redwood Large Pendant

The official state fossil of Oregon is the Dawn Redwood. Abundant in Oregon State and much of the Pacific Northwest on up into northern Canada 5-25 million years ago, the fossil can be found embedded in rocks across the Oregon landscape. I've paired the beautiful fossil in this necklace with a gorgeous Oregon sunstone, known for its brilliant copper schiller deep in its depths.

The pendant is heavily textured front and back and oxidized dark so that the textures in the metal pop. It sits on a sturdy double 3mm dark brown leather cord that includes handmade sterling silver endcaps and a handmade chain with a hook clasp.

Silver and Rainforest Rhyolite Monstera Leaf Earrings

Monstera deliciosa is found in the tropical forests of southern Mexico and Central America. It's an epiphyte which means it grows into the canopies of trees using it's arial roots which will eventually replace it's original roots in the soil. The plant will then live its life high above the forest floor.

Much like these earrings I created. The colors in the rainforest rhyolite stones remind me of a tropical forest canopy and the handmade sterling silver monstera leaves are living high up in a tree.

Silver and Turquoise Wild Rose Pendant

I found three beautiful cut pieces of estate turquoise in one of my favorite rock shops and decided to create a trio of garden-inspired pendants to showcase the beauty of these stones. The turquoise in this pendant is a deep blue-green, almost the color of the glacier-fed mountain lakes here in Washington State. The pierced designs on the front are hand sawn using my jeweler’s saw, and the leaf soldered to the back was textured by hand using my chasing tool and metal stamps.

The patterns you see front and back are pressed into annealed sterling silver, oxidized dark, and then polished to brighten the high spots and enhance the textured details. I added a Whitewater Turquoise bead to the end of the chain.

These are handmade sterling silver round framed earrings that contain small stacks of beautiful green-blue Turquoise beads.

The texture of the sterling silver has been oxidized dark, and then polished to brighten the high spots and enhance the details. Paired with my hand forged earwires, these make great everyday earrings!
