Silver and Labradorite Ring
There’s a galaxy in a labradorite stone! Internally it has a layered structure and a variety of microscopic inclusions which causes light to scatter and produce its brilliant colors.
In this ring I paired the labradorite with a textured wire that looks good and feels good on. I applied an oxidizing agent to the sterling silver to darken the ring, and lightly polished it to a shiny dark metal color. Then I polished the interior of the ring to a shiny silver for contrast.
